The Louvre Abu Dhabi is a world-class art and civilization museum located on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Opened in 2017 through a cultural partnership between the UAE and France, it is the first universal museum in the Arab world, showcasing art, artifacts, and objects from diverse cultures and time periods in a way that highlights shared human stories. Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, the museum is renowned for its striking dome and “rain of light” effect, and aims to bridge Eastern and Western art traditions through its unique cross-cultural approach.
